What I'm working on this month.

At Inument

Leading the AI engineering team. Right now that means three things: deepening the evaluation harness around the LLM analytics platform, hardening the Responsible AI governance layer for what's coming next, and getting two recent hires ready for the senior on-call rotation.

On the side

• · Drafting the first essay for /writing, on LLM systems that look healthy on every dashboard and are quietly failing anyway
• · Writing up detailed case studies for the engagements summarized at /work
• · Just wrapped a Master of Technology Management at Memorial University of Newfoundland, and sharpening how I frame the strategy and management side now that the coursework is behind me

Reading

Re-reading Designing Data-Intensive Applications, mostly for the stream-processing chapter, which is feeding an internal architecture decision. Also on the desk: every Anthropic and Microsoft Research paper on LLM eval methodology from the last 90 days.
