Leading the AI engineering team. Current emphasis: deepening the evaluation harness around the LLM analytics platform, hardening the Responsible AI governance layer for downstream initiatives, and onboarding two newer engineers from the recent hiring round into the senior on-call rotation.

On the side

• · Drafting the first essay for /writing — on production failure modes for LLM systems that look healthy on dashboards
• · Building out detailed case studies for the engagements summarized at /work
• · Recently completed a Master of Technology Management at Memorial University of Newfoundland — refining the strategy/management framing now that the formal program is done

Currently re-reading Designing Data-Intensive Applications with the chapter on stream processing in mind for an internal architecture decision. Also on the desk: every Anthropic and Microsoft Research paper on LLM eval methodology that's shipped in the last 90 days.
